This week the girls and I went to the Heyburn green belt with our neighbor Kira and her son Cray. They live just down the road from us and him and Madi are only a few months apart. The kids have so much fun chasing each other around and starting trouble. They even tried to mountain clib hehe! Here are a few pictures from our walk!

Fishing Fun!
This past weekend the family went to Adrian, Oregon to go fly fishing on the Owyhee River. Well Matt was fishing and the girls and I were just going to play and enjoy the wonderful weather.
We played in the back of the truck and went on a couple of walks. Then after lunch I was getting the girls dressed. I asked Madi to come over to the truck so I could change her pants... well I looked up and saw this! She was just walking down the road with her pants down! She kills me.
I hope everyone had a great Easter! I am so happy for nice weather! Hooray for Spring!

I didn't get very many pictures of Matt because I was busy chasing the girls around but he did catch 3 fish. We had so much fun and the weather was beautiful!

Fishing & Trucks Oh My!
In the past couple of weeks we have been enjoying the outdoors when the weather is nice! Madi got chicks and loves them. We saw them in the store and she kept saying "oh dad Ppppleeeezzzzz" So we came home with 4 and have a chicken coop they will be moving into shortly!
This past weekend we decided to go fishing at the local fishing pond! Madi had so much fun and made friends with a couple of little girls! Matt didn't get to do much fishing he was more in charge of putting more worms on Madi's pole. She caught 3 or 4 baby blue gill and even game one a kiss then immediately turned to me and said "sugusting" meaning disgusting! haha.
Natalie had lots of fun playing outside as well! I just noticed my car in the background of this picture! It is officially the last picture of the Suby!
After fishing we decided to head to Twin Falls to try fishing by Shoshone Falls at Dirkey's Lake. By the time we got to Twin both girls were sound asleep so we decided to go drive around and look at trucks. We had talked about getting a small truck for me and the girls. Something that had a little more room the the Suby! Don't get me wrong I loved my Subaru but it was getting to small for our family! Well long story short and when I say long I mean after sitting for 6 hrs at the dealership with both kids! We are now the proud owners of a Nissan Titan! I love having a truck! It is so nice to just throw the girls stroller or bikes in the back!!!! Well I am supper excited for nicer weather and starting my garden in the next week! HAPPY EASTER everyone!

WOW 8 MONTHS OLD
Time has really been going by so fast. The girls are getting so big! Natalie is 8 months old and is a funny, happy girl. She was a late bloomer in a few categories. In the last month she has started to eat some baby food, crawl, got two teeth, and sleeps in her own bed. Natalie is very different from Madilyn. She wants to cuddle all the time, and loves her mommy time. I won't complain, but it is a lot different from when Madilyn was a baby.
Madi is as independant as ever! She talks like a 3 year old and has the most amazing manners! She will say thank you for everything! She is loving the warmer weather because she loves to be outside. She is one busy girl who loves to dress up as a princess, or what she calls a "prinz".
The girls and I have been traveling back and forth from McCall the last couple of months. I am preparing to student teach in McCall in the fall and I have some school work I have to complete in a 3rd grade class up there! I love it and it makes me miss McCall so bad! The drive can be a little rough! It is a 4.5 hr drive with out any stops and me having the girls by myself requires at least 3 stops! But it is all worth it and we love to get to spend time with Matt's family. Madi escpecially enjoys having Papa Leon pull her in the sled.
In Feburary the girls were baptized by Matt's Grandpa Basye. It was such a special day for everyone. Thanks for everyone that came and shared that day with us.
This weekend we headed out to the Dam so Matt could check on a pump and then we went up to the City of Rocks, it was beautiful and the girls had so much fun! Madi did very good hiking but on the way back she got a little tired! Hopefully I can keep the blog more up to date!

Madi's Second Birthday
Miss Madilyn Claire turned 2 on January 7th. Her birthday was on a Saturday and we had made a trip back to Boise for the weekend. Her Grandma Michelle and Papa Leon came down to Boise to give Madi a special birthday present. The got her a sweet little pink trike.
She really loved it!. Thanks Grandma and Papa. We had a small birthday party planned at a place called Jump Time. My mom and Grandma, and Jack made a trip down from Twin Falls to join us and a friend from my old job met us there with her son. The kids had so much fun!

A New Year, A New House
Well it has almost been one month, and a lot has gone on in the past month! We had a great Christmas. On December 22nd we went to Twin Falls to spend a few days with my family. We ended up going to Burley to look for a house to rent. We found on that we really like and went ahead and rented it. It is out in the county and has a perfect view of the ski resort. It has a huge yard and I can't wait until the weather warms up and we can use the big fire pit in the backyard.

On Christmas Eve we headed off to McCall. We were so excited to get there because we were having a Halibut fish fry with fresh french fries and cheese soup. The food was so delicious and I was so stuffed afterwards. During the night Madi got sick. So when we all woke up on Christmas morning she was sound asleep. Matt went into the room and told her Santa came, she smiled rolled over and went back to sleep. I felt so bad for her. It was 9:30 before she got up. But she seemed to be feeling better and was happy as can be. We had fun opening presents for hours! Madi got a 4-wheeler from Santa and loved it. Natalie got a piano toy she can sit in from Grandma Michelle and Papa Leon. She loves the thing. I got a bike and trailer so I can take the girls for rides in Burley, and Matt got tools! It was a great Christmas morning.
We had a great Christmas celebration with my family and the girls loved all of their presents. Madi got a rocking horse from her great grandma and has named it Peebody! We have no idea where the name came from but she love to feed him and ride him! She was so happy to get it!

After opening presents we hit the road again headed to Riggins to go see Matt's dad! We traveled so much during the holidays, it was very exhausting but we were happy to be able to see everyone! We had a great little break over the holidays, and we finished 2011 off with another move to Burley. Stayed tuned for Madi's Birthday celebration!
